Neighborhood Highlights

 

• The Virginia-Highland Summerfest is one of the most well-attended festivals in the Southeast. Held over a weekend in June, Summerfest is a celebration of community and all things summer. The event includes concerts, an artist market, 5K run, food vendors and activities for kids.

• Set on a stunning 12-acre campus the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center serves as a premiere public arts and cultural center, featuring arts education and an intriguing calendar of events, including musical performances and artists marts.

• Park space is abundant in vibrant VaHi. Delightful 6.6-acre Orme Park stands at the center of the neighborhood while massive Piedmont Park at its western edge and sprawling Freedom Park, featuring the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum to the south, add 400 acres of outdoor space to VaHi.
